👋 About me & Resume
Let's Make Something Extraordinary.
Hey there! I’m Alex, a senior at Duke University, double majoring in Computer Science & Linguistics and Classical Languages, with a minor in Classical Archaeology. My time at Duke has been all about exploring the things that truly excite me—whether that’s diving into code, leading a cappella rehearsals, or uncovering pieces of the past. I've kept a 3.95 GPA along the way, but the real highlights have been the experiences that pushed me to grow and connect with others.
Right now, I’m working at Kyros AI, helping students navigate the college admissions process in smarter, more personalized ways. I also spend a lot of my time with the Duke Innovation Co-Lab, where I get to teach and mentor students as they bring their own ideas to life through full-stack development. There's something really rewarding about helping people take that first step into tech and seeing their excitement when things finally click.
One of the biggest milestones in my journey has been interning at Disney Streaming, where I got to work on product features that shape how millions of people experience their favorite content. I’ll be heading back to Disney full-time in June 2025, and I couldn't be more excited to take what I’ve learned and dive even deeper into the world of product management.
Outside of work and school, I’ve always had a soft spot for archaeology. Spending time on digs in Italy, carefully brushing away layers of history, has been an incredible way to step back from the fast-paced tech world and appreciate the patience and detail of the past. Whether it's piecing together fragments of pottery or just standing in awe of ancient ruins, it's a hobby that keeps me grounded and reminds me of the bigger picture.
And speaking of stepping back—I make a pretty great cup of coffee, which helps when balancing everything life throws my way. As graduation in Spring 2025 approaches, I’m excited (and maybe a little nostalgic) about what’s next. Whether it’s in tech, business, or something unexpected, I’m always ready to take on new challenges and see where the journey leads.
